Pokémon GO: New Shiny, Regional... 5G is available

Three years after its initial release and the first Pokémon from the Kanto region, Pokémon GO expands, and sees its Pokédex completed by the monsters of the fifth generation.

After welcoming the creatures of Diamond and Pearl a little less than a year ago, it's the turn of Vipélierre, Poichigeon or Zebibron, from the Black and White versions, to join the ranks of Pokémon GO. A few hours ago, Niantic formalized the arrival of fifth-generation Pokémon, and with it many ingame novelties. Since yesterday's update, it is possible to meet and capture many monsters from the Unys region, whether in the wild, through hatching of eggs or in the Raids. Alongside Ponchiot and Ratentif, which are now available in their chromatic form, new regional Pokémon will also be available. Depending on their geographical location, players from all over the world will be able to count on the presence of the three elemental monkeys Feuillajou, Flamajou and Flotajou, while the Western and Eastern hemispheres will see the arrival of Aflamanoir and Fermite .

In addition to the new monsters of the fifth generation, Niantic has also formalized the arrival of a new item accessible from the Study Phases, the Unys Stone, which will allow different Pokémon to evolve. Several creatures are involved, including Melancholy, which appeared in Pokémon Black and White and its Evolution Lugulor, usually accessible via a Night Stone in the original games. The week promises to be full of new features in Pokémon GO, as in addition to the fifth generation, the game is also expected to thrill fans this weeken. On this occasion, fast Pokémon like Yanma, Ponyta, or Tropius will be honored, promises Niantic.
